Long Service Medals - Favourite?

Since I have recently started focusing on long service medals of the Third Reich period, I've gotten very interested in them. They seem to be an off-shoot to most collections as a type of accompanying medal to whatever the collector focuses on. I think they have a lot to offer and I am curious to know what everyones favourite type is.

What makes a long service medal interesting to you, rarity? design? organization it's attributed to? etc. I think this thread can work if you post your favorite with a picture and WHY it is your favourite!

I will start.

An extremely difficult choice for me - because I do think each one has something to offer. I was just about to click 'civil' because that's what got me started into long service medals. BUT:

My choice is NSDAP - purely based on the design of the 15 and 25 with the extra enamel, I would argue it is the nicest looking Third Reich medal.

I am a great fan of the Wehrmacht 4 & 12 year service medal - however, the SS ones come a close 2nd, also like the gold RAD medals and enamelled NSDAP, plus I also like............

...and my favourite...I love the way it is mounted...I love the bullion embroidery...it's the only example from this maker that I have ever seen outside the period 'Doehle' books...

Difficult choice!

Great idea for a poll, but a hard decision to make.

They are all really nice! However, I am going on record as casting the first vote for Police Long Service Decorations. I have always had an affinity to Police Long Service Decorations, maybe because I spent a good chunk of my life as a police officer. I especially like them when they are found on parade medal bars.

Vote for Customs

Customs Long Service Decorations are nice too and pretty hard to come by. I really like these bars because not only do you get the Customs LS, but you get two Wehrmacht LS as well.
