Croatian 3 place ribbon bar

Great input gentlemen!

As we can see the bar is field made...it was also an assumption of mine that it did not belong to a German - however, if the ribbon is for the Memel award then the holder is German so the oder should be KVK, Memel, Croatian award, but with the safety pin attachment, the bar was meant to be worn with the Croatian award first.

Interesting that the backing was crudely sewn over the base of the pin system. I've not seen that before.

Then it certainly is an interesting order with the Croatian award taking precedence over the KVK.

Yes it is very interesting. Could have been some sort of Memel Nationalist, who then helped out in some sort of role with the Croatians. Policeman probably. Certainly a high likely candidate for an SS ribbon bar.
