Help on Medal Bar

I think you guys are right in regards to it being some sort of unofficial veterans organization medal. I cant seem to find this ribbon anywhere.

I found this link today with a ribbon that is very similar to mine. The black lines are thicker but is there any chance it might be this?

I don't believe so. The ribbon on your bar is quite specific looking.

No! As you say, the ribbon is similar but not the same. It has to be some unofficial Prussian or Hohenzollern award. Unfortunately, the Nimmergut Bänderkatalog does not show ribbons for unofficial awards.

Regarding the last ribbon, I had a bar with this ribbon on it at one time, and I am 99% sure that it is a Veteran's Organization award, most likely Prussian.


Although at first glance it looks like a Prussian Kriegs-Eringarrungskrauz (Prussian War Commemorative Cross), the ribbon for that award is actually this combination of stripes, but doubled, as seen on the 2nd award on the bar below from Detlev's book.


I looked through his chapter on War Veteran's Organization awards, but unfortunately not all of the awards shown include their ribbons.

This has me intrigued, I'm going to do a little more research & see what I can find.
