    Thank you Andrew for another example and those helpful links to other NSDAP ribbon bars.

    Here are some close-ups of the devices on the ribbon bar that originally started this thread...any more opinions would be greatly appreciated as i am still not sure if 100% good or bad.

        Agree that these lack the proper detail and quality. I am aware of at least 2 more ribbon bars with all 3 NSDAP service awards only being offered / having been offered recently, with the same issues.

          Hi Andrew,

          I remember that bar from the e-stand (and the SS LS ribbon bar). I knew immediately it was formerly from Rick's collection. I hesitated on buying that bar when it sold and have always regretted it.

                Here they are for those who are not members on GMIC Forum.

                From studying all these devices i now know what i do not like about the bar i opened the thread with....the eagles heads...they are an odd shape and completely lack any detail. This is a major difference i notice between this one and the originals posted.

                  Hello Pierce,


                  I agree with most of all the ocmments here and you did get the "alte Hase" Opinion. I have posted a few long service ribbon bars (they are at home and I am in the office) I don't like the wash and detail on the eagles, the wear on the ribbon is not congruent with the wear, aging, on the frame.
