Philippe I think is better to wait till more info surfaced, but in my opinion is not a wartime made one.

No problem I felt the medal itself was in good condition and maybe someday I will run across a trashed one that has a ring and ribbon I can swap out.

The medal is excellent, the pity is the suspension ring as a ribbon could be found, is rare, but sometimes surfaced one.
