This is not a political badge! It´s a combat award.

        In this case a fake.

Hello, thank you for your opinion on the Anti-Partisan Badge. You say it is fake in your opion but you do not state the fact why you belive this. The first issues were manufactured by "Junker" with stylised skull, cut out serpents, with two "Junker" variants semi hollow or solid back. Also in various metals, Tombac, alloy or zinc, with either flat or needle pin. Later versions were of zinc. This from my perspective is the correct pin assembly for this type of semi hollow back, so I would appreciate how you deem it to be fake.
          Regards Martin

I Have Moved This Thread From The Political Forum As General Wehrmacht Awards Is A More Appropriate Place For Comments.

Hi Martin, I agree that this badge is a fake. I do not see the level of detail that should be present, as well there are subtle differences in the reverse between your badge and an original. Is the metal even zinc? best wishes,
              jeff

All you will get are opinions. In my opinion this badge does not match known originals in design details or construction.

Hello guys, thank you for your opinions. although regarding the detail, in hand it is far more detailed and it is just the poor low resolution images that make it appear so lacking in detail. Don I have posted images from Detlev Niemanns - Orden, ehrenzeichen, Verleihungs-Urkunden, Miniaturen und Etuis (page 483) to the top right hand side of this page there is virtually an identical semi hollow back version, with virtually the same pin assembly to the reverse. Don I will post images from an early klietmann reference book showing different design variations when I locate the book.
                    Regards Martin

                        Jurgen Brinkmann Reference

Following design variation is from Jurgen Brinkmann's - Orden und Ehrenzeichen des Dritten Reiches (page 63)

Martin, you are wasting your time looking at tiny pictures in reference books. These badges have been faked to way higher standards than what you can see in those books. Your pictures are bad, from what I can see your badge does not approach an original. In the design your badge does match originals. It is in the details that it falls short from what I can see. Also these badges were only made in zinc. best wishes,
                          jeff

Hello Don, I will try to get better high resolution side profile pictures of the Badge, but either my camera is not up to the job or I am a useless photographer. It's 2.15 in the morning here in England, so will try to take close up shots tomorrow in daylight. The Badge is so much more detailed in hand. Ron C was good enough to send me picture taking tips, but somehow I am still taking ninth generation blob images
