        Thank You, PaulW, very nice additions!

        jmcm, these are the tabs formerly owned by PaulR, I suppose?

          Thanks Ramjet. Love your insignia display!

          Thanks for showing jmcm, but I'm sure they cost more than 2 cents!

          They do appear to have been in PaulR's collection previously, they look identical to a pair on an old 2009 thread I just looked at.

          A couple more threads to tie-in on this subject:-

            As addition to the cuff title thread, here is a set of all three variants (EM/NCO/Officer) of the early "General Göring" version:

                I think your black HG Panzer collar tab set is made by the same maker as my pair which were removed from a wrap during WW2.

                You can see images of my pair in this thread post numbers 1094, 1095 & 1096;

                They are shown with some other black HG Panzer insignia I have. The skulls look to be the same type or at least very similar.

                Best regards,

                Chris

                Don't think so, Chris.

                They were made from trikot fabric and came with skulls which some people do not believe to be real.

                But they look to be tunic removed and never had some other kind of skulls attached. And they came with a set of black, white-piped HG NCO shoulder straps which also are genuine. So they stay in my collection with the skulls they came with.

                I contacted Scott Pritchett on this case. There are two possibilities. First, the tabs were worn without skulls and somebody put these skulls on them long after war. Than nothing is proved. Or these skulls are attached pre-1945. Than we have a new type of skulls which is genuine.

                  There couldn't have been the standard, three-pronged skulls attached formerly, as they are larger and so the holes for the prongs do not fit:

                    Fantastic bands! Here is a surviving example still on a tunic, period hand sewn on, and somewhat more tarnished than your example:-
