            I was joking....I may have misunderstood your comment...were you seriously n St. Marie du Mont on the 7th (because I never mentioned the specific shop that I bought it from) and about the value of the helmet or was it a condescending comment? Sorry but I couldn't tell.

              I wont say what i payed for my helmet....but here is another rust bucket that I saw in another shop for 380 eu....and the seller wouldn't budge from the price.

                for me this post is a complet joke,you dont say what you has paid ,you know its cost more as some here have writen etc.......lol offer this one to a dealer and you will see,i have get a helmet like this a CLK 68 without any rust with bolts and inside ring in Kassel show for 800 euro.thats max for yours......
                ebay.us has from time to time some lat war complet buckets and the last two sold spring this year go for abaut 3000$.-complet condition

                  I'm glad you find humor in the thread..Contrary to your opinion..I think it has been very informative discussion..because i learned alot more about my helmet from "experts" on here...which i really appreciate them sharing their knowledge...I don't quote prices that i paid because is nobody's business but my own...Don't feel bad..I don't even tell my wife about it...lol...as far as the value goes...its worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay...I am not a dealer or a seller..I'm a collector and reenactor...so im holding onto this piece of history.
