Hi All
The marking are pretty close to the original. Take a look at the 2 Karl Lotz bando(blue and splinter) that are perfect originals.
Stamp seems to be exact the same letters, but the Lederwaren-Fabrik line are slight staggered and the address missing. The splinter also seem to have the very late date 1944 together with Makers name KARL LOTZ(Big letters).
- adress- 1944.
I would have thought that these snaps for sure are fake, but if Mark have a RZ20 with these exact snaps, it will be news to me.
Mark can you show of the snaps on your RZ20 rig?
There is nothing wrong in a Lederwaren Fabrik making Bandos. Karl Lotz were in fact a Lederwaren Fabrik, and also remember
Wersa Lederwarenfabrik Hubert Werner KG Rbnr. 0-0850-0189 (Bando shown below Karl Lotz 2 Bandos)
0-0155-0015 Bruno Leunert Lederwarenfabrik in Bretnig maded LBA proved equipment, such as LW Rucksacks, Breadbags, Bajo-frogs, and kneepads.
The very thin thread, as the shown bando has, is the thing most fakers get wrong, which don´t speak well for it.

I´m fully aware of that John
I myself just made the connection in my head with the Lederwaren Fabrik and the leather pouches and Bandos, so I thought I´ll just share this revelation with You all.
It was not meant like"I´ll show them all", but I can now see why you thought that.
That´s why I´ll sometimes hate about writing on forums, that things can be interpreted in the wrong way.
Best Jan
