        Hi Willi,

Interesting. So, the green twill is camouflaged on the reverse, correct ? Can you think of any camouflage item that uses that kind of material ? It looks like a very coarse type of rayon/otton twill.
A lot of eagles appear to be made using scrap smock material.

        Regards,
        Steve

Same eagle as on the smock on page 66 of my book.

This one has a tan backing. But is it from a jump smock? It is an uniform removed eagle.

It looks like gray backing to me. It is a smock eagle.

                Maybe one like this?

                  Hi Larry,

Your's is more blueish. Mine is more tan/grey. I looked through this thread, but I couldn't find a similar one.
Thanks for the input so far.

                  Regards, Nick

                    Hi Nick,
Does yours have a separate backing fabric? It does appear to be gray on the back. Perhaps the front has faded to present a more tan appearance.

                      Hi Nick,

It's just my picture. Mine is definitely grey and is on a mint smock. As Willi says, your's may be faded somewhat.

                      Best,

                      Larry

                        Hi Willi,

No, it doesn't have a seperate backing fabric.
It's as you can see a worn example, so I assume it's faded. That would be logical. Thanks for the help guys!

                        Regards,
                        Nick

                          Hello All-

I looked at the ones in this thread and I could not find this exact one. My feelings on it are not good as the background material is a ribbed twill but I would like some expert opinions on this piece. The camo pattern seems too vibrant and prevalent on the background also. What say ye all?

                          Thanks!
