It is something like newspaper or something like that ..

Hi Martin, yes, I can confirm that authentic FJ chinstraps like yours are indeed constructed with newsprint like yours (at least, I have seen this type of newsprint on the inside of several other authentic FJ chinstraps)

Nice looking helmet !

Lots of original FJ straps have newsprint inside them, but just as many don't. It is nice to see, but cannot be used to determine the originality of a particular set of straps. I think the factories used bits of old paper or strips of cloth as templates around which they stitched their leather and chamois.

I have just been cleaning up a relic fj helmet and also spotted fragments of brown printed paper. So that's new to me but no doubt it's original!
