Use a telephoto setting next time so we are not looking so "down" on the bottom of the trousers and boots.

Thanks John, will have to consult 'Manuel'.

      Another great impression. Congratulations, Mike.
Is the smock an intact step-in ?

      Regards,
      Steve

          Well double congratulations then !

WRT improving the impression - all I can add is try "stuffing" the pockets- especially the lower ones. Most war-time photos show the pockets bulging with items.

          Regards,
          Steve

I think a model who is a redhead would look great in a green smock!

            Seriouly though, great idea Mike!

I tried to do something like this myself last weekend using a live model. Although I was pleased with the result, my first attempt, one friend did not like it at all.

What do you think? Does it look the part or not? I'm thinking of adding a 'recreation' section to my website that will better demonstrate context so the feedback would be useful.

Nice set ups Butch and Mike, I really like the live model, I would leave the face and not blur it, perhaps the background should be outside somewhere? but your items are superb

I think Chris and David pop in on the WAF from time to time. I was not referencing an existing thread or another section.

                    Thanks.

It was a condition specified by the youth's father (a collector). After all, the young man might wish to be governor of South Carolina someday.

I thought Willi's idea might get more votes.

                            six inch heels

Italy was a battlefield till the very end... there should be no reason to send the "new pattern" only in some areas and ot in others. Talking back again about water smocks used in Italy, although my sources are poor and my time possibly poorer, after a first, quick research I could spot these images. I am sure with time I will find others. I had to take them with the camera because my scanner isst kaputt.
Those all are coming from the very nice and interesting book from Mr. Valente.
