fg42 and normandy

I like to know if they Fallschirmjägers used the FG42 model 2 to normandy or only the model 1 ?

What FJ units used the FG42? Did FJR6 use FG42 during Normandy?

im not sure exactly which units were issued the FG42, but yes, i have seen a pic of a feldwebel from FJR6 near carentan with an FG42 type 1.
