            Another interesting moment i have dug out helmet similar to the Patric's one which is also painted over the yellow and has cover's hooks still attached and wire which changed the bolt , the helmet was found in Ukraine there 2.FJ Division located in the late43-early44 .

            Interesting shell Sergey. Could I see some close ups of the paint please?

            How many hooks are still on the shell? The hook does appear to be much larger than those used on covers.

              You have a good eye,Willi- hooks are quite different to usual use hooks , i made a pic with another helmet which has remnants of cover too .
              Also they hav't black finish .

                  There are 5 same hooks still attached and one is missed , also remnants of cloth visible on some points of the shell and on the bolts , as i found in German sources parts of 2.FJD were transferred from Italy to Ukraine in the late 43 and yellow paint under the blue confirmes it... i think this helmet could be from the same unit where the Patric's one from .
