Very nice Quilted Winter Jacket...please read another recent thread "Fallschirmjaeger Quilted winter pants" This jacket although issued to FJ it was not a standard FJ clothing item. The jacket was issued Luftwaffe wide Bill

It is Wehrmacht issue. That style of buttons can be encountered on these early styles.

OK, I'd like to get some further discussion on this thread if possible. I am in agreement with the reply that suggests that the parka originally posted to this thread is a Hungarina army item. I post below another example that was offered in the past by a Hungarian dealer as a Hungarian item. Unless I am mistaken, I have also seen this cut of jacket with the proper Hungarian interior markings. The waist draw chord with metal eyelets is also an indicator. Any information or directions to better threads on this topic are welcome.

CORRECTION:
I have checked my notes and I correct myself, the particular jacket I show was offered as a Fallschirm item by a Hungarian dealer. However my opinion regarding true country of origin remains.
