      Bandoleer detail....42, but stocko snaps are all perfect after all these years...

        Splinter bandos were made (that we know of) in 1941-1943.

        The 1941 set has an interesting difference in the base colors; tan on the flaps, and light green on the main body.

                                Wow, more great items and set ups...fine boots Tony!

                                Due to the arbitrary nature of the thread and as we all like to see the little details, i have some pictures of my marsh smock, with splinter material inside all pockets, the splinter is particularly vibrant as covered away in there ...it has metal Ri-Ri and Zipp...zips...metal Ri Ri are very unusual on such later smocks John informed me...
