For sure an amazing Thread! I can only agree with you guys, fj collectors are more researchers than only collectors. That's why it's alaways a true experience to debate and talk about some gears or historical facts!

Serguey, this camo grouping is awesome, i'm amazed by these binoculars!

Yes, please focus on FJ mannequins!

The smock that began my focus on FJ collecting almost 30 years ago. Obtained from a veteran of the the 10th Mountain Division who was from Denver when I was stationed in Wyoming.

He picked it up from a supply depot north of the Po River in 1945. It had a soup stain on it with a 1957 dated penny in a pocket. He had worn it duck hunting once back then. In another pocket was this piece of an assembly signoff tag.

THE BEST IDEA YOU EVER HAD TO CHANGE YOUR MODERN MANNEQUINS
            WITH THE FAMOUS HINDSGAUL MANNEQUINS
            THAT MAKES A LOT

              Very nice dolls!
But why don't you give your medic another DRK armband
So he can identify himself as a Sanitäter...

Fantastic displays gentlemen, very well focused collections of high quality pieces!

A., I like your Tupelo references! By the way, the snow camo was camo'ed green and brown before it was painted white. Sure wish it could talk!

Here is something small but quite significant, shoulder straps removed from an Fj Feldwebel during the Battle of the Bulge. The unit loops may ID members of Operation Stösser, regardless, the loops ID the straps as Fj straps.

                  Nice set , John.
I had also a set from an oberjaeger , but it was sold
his name was Horst Premper. 17 years old when he jumped in the Belle-Croix area.
lost in the forest he returned by foot to Eupen to rejoin Germany.
I still have his tan bandoleer

Yes I thought I could see khaki under the white ...but suspected I was seeing what I wanted to see, plus the later type helmet and bolts threw me off...quite a history to the helmet then, even more tantalising ! There are some fine camo 4054's out there !

Btw...All the mannequins on here are great ! I recognise some of Gustav's from Karl's books

Here you go A., brown camo under the white.

                              Fine mannequin David!

Bob, don't send that helmet to Larry no matter how often he asks.
