Some really great items gentlemen!!
Since I have been aggressively building a 2nd different collection over the last 6+ years, I have sadly neglected my FJ collection. Have taken advantage of this situation to organize some displays.

Russ Hamilton was the first collector to own this snow camo'ed helmet. In the early 1990s I visited Russ to photograph his jump helmets, his helmet collection then was just mind blowing! Among them was this snow camo. When I saw and photographed this helmet I never imagined or dreamed that it would be mine someday!
The veteran who brought the helmet to the US lived in Tupelo (love that name) Mississippi. The soldier picked the helmet up in the Ardennes. It is a "Battle of the Bulge" helmet. Sometime after I photographed the helmet, Russ sold the helmet to one of his best friends, who is also a good friend of mine. He owned the helmet longer than Russ did. Years later this friend called "out of the blue" and offered me the helmet.
Great helmet, John, I just love to hear these collector stories.
Is this Ardennes via Tupelo M38 a "flared / thick rim" helmet too ? Nice alu bolts also !
