Thanks Aram and Uwe. As you know Uwe, all brave soldiers were at least once in Krampnitz, or perhaps the contrary : in Krampnitz were only the brave !

                Unbelievable grouping, very cool!

Do you happen to know if he was in the staff of Pz.Jagd.Brigade Schneider?
                Or in one of its units (Pz.Jagd.Verband S, T, U and R)?
I might got some info on it.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

I have unfortunately no further infos about his duty within this late Unit, except the biographical data he wrote after the war.

Amazing group you have here, it has all to fall in love with it, a dream to research and thank to God it is in the hands of a collector who make justice to it.

Just one thing, in your last post I think both photos show the brother and no the protagonist go the thread, look the medals are the same and despite being an officer in neither of it you can see neither the TDB not the CCC.

Show more if you have from this wonderful group.

Thanks again for all your efforts here to show pieces and help others.

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Pretty good Eyes Angel. You are right, especially because Reinhard became an officer extremely late in the war, I have no Pics from him wearing an officer uniform Thanks for making me avoid a mistake !

I mean I have shawn it quite completely now....

                                Hello Lionel !

Here are some infos on the school(s), where he was in the last part of his career.
(This is still a very complicated topic though).

It is very likely that his last school was the Oberfähnrichschule 1.
The history of this particular school is very complex (to the best of my understanding):
It was formed in Zossen from OA Lehrgang I (Wünsdorf) in December 1942. In August 1943 it moved to Gross-Glienecke.
On 1. July, 1944 it was redesiganted Oberfähnrichschule 1 (Kdr. Oberst Wendenburg (1.7.44 - End).
In early August it was transferred to Krampnitz. In November 1944, the Lehrgruppe III (Panzeraufklärer) from
Panzertruppenschule Bergen (located at Beckedorf) was attached. (Perhaps that was his way to Krampnitz ?!)

For some more details on the final months of the Oberfähnrichschule 1, see the attached scan.
I hope this adds some useful infos on the lesser researched timeframe of this great group.

There are almost no infos on Pz.Jagd-Brigade Schneider, would be interesting to see the info from Rick !

                                Best regards,
