thanks guys! the photo is indeed unique and i cant remember another photo whee you can clearly recognise the background/place where it was taken. I dont think there s was another stamp as in previously used, there was humidity at some point (he was in Venice in fairness lol)
It is intriguing the fact that he s wearing such uniform with such medals. I was first wondering if he borrowed the uniform for the photo but I think he might have simply served in the KM and earned them himself. hard to know exactly

It still is an official document and I don't think that the Feldpolizei had any sense of humour when they found out an piece of identity with a non matching face or rank or award picture.
