I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Hello !
But I can not believe that some fool sat on a desk and made all those entries in 1945 on May 8 while the eastern front collapsed around him. In Austria they rushed to the Americans at Enns river to become POWs and for shure they burned all there stuff last days. For me no way.
I looked up the divisional history by Jean Mabire and summarized what happened at the end of the war :

So, Kinnarodden is somehow right that many units headed towards the American lines to become POW,
but after that, there was a lot of time to produce this kind of paperwork.
And as Angel wrote, there are many examples from other units as well.
Best regards,
Archi

As previously stated a very nice Wehrpass, only regret is the lacking of photo, normal in replacements, but despite this is full of info and from a very well known unit.
Did it come alone or within a group?
Cheers
AngelLooking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.
