Kurt was enlisted in Kolber in April 1941 in Inf. Pz. Jag. Ers. Komp. 32Comment

In September 1941 in Russia, Moscow, with the command of the Panzergruppe 3,
then with the 36 Infanterie Division( always on Moscow front).
He was injured in action on 10 August 1942 (see below) and repatriated.
In January 1944 comes to Italy with Panzer-Pionier-Bataillon 93 of the 26 Pz.Div.Comment
