The stamps used on the tag 2 looks completely post war style.

The others after that one, for me, the 3 is a common font on fake tags.

I don't know what to make about tag 2. Maybe postwar as you suggest. The fonts are deep and very crisp though. Not like any fake shown on the WAF that I have found. Problem is no one really posts Army and LW tags to compare, except for HG, FJ and GD. After I do the Rokas font charts which I hope other collectors can use, I'll post the rest of my tags for comment. I relooked them all and I don't think their are any controversial or fakes. At least none look like the Rokas or the four I posted on this thread. Again thanks for your help. Jim

Also on tag 2 are the filed wear marks on the two holes to make it look worn . The whole tag looks fake. A drill hole is showing on one of the slots, a sloppy mistake.

Its in my junk box. Here is a chart showing Rokas fonts. best I could do with the quality of pictures available out there. Anyway it provides a simpler way to check your EKMs against the Roka fakes without having to search a bunch of threads. jim

I used my chart to check the EKMs that were fakes and the letters and numbers match up fairly well. They aren't the ones most often seen on these fakes though. It's possible they were another iteration of Rokas fonts or maybe done by someone else. Jim

Jim, I believe you should post a reference thread with the work you are doing here, referencing the fonts of fake tags on one usefull chart.

Here are couple I bought in the early 2000's before I learned about Rokas. I have seen similar even with infanterie ersatz codes, so they didn't fake only ss.
