the variations and the nice stamp of the armoured cars of the Heres-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 400, that derive from Aufklärungs-Abteilung 400, which had been formed in Viterbo in January 1944 as Reconnaissance Unit of the Panzertruppen directly employed from Heresgruppe C. It was equipped with about twenty AB41. in May 17th it fights south of the Monti Aurunici (west of Montecassino) with the 94 ID and for the heavy losses incurred must be withdrawn to be reorganized....Comment

The Panzer-Abteilung Ausbildungs-Süd, was in charge the training of the Germans soldiers to the use of the Italian armored vehicles.
It had moved to Lonico from Verona (Montorio Veronese) in April 1944 (and will remain in Lonigo there until November 1944) ....Comment
