Unfortionally I am not as busy here at the forum as I was before. Normally I checked it as good as every day. Now, dutch liberation down south is remembered and I am quite busy showing paperworks in differend places.
Anyway, this mentioned, I came across a soldbuch wich was given to me by the son of the veteran. He lived in the region where I live, so for me, it is a nice addition.
I dont know much about soldbucher and need more information about what the pass says. He had it in possesion for a long long time as youll see from the condition it is in. It also has many extra information written in it, in sutterlin german, wich I cant decript.
Am I correct that his last unit was 1. Stellungsbau pionier batallion 785? And is there a way to find out till how long he fought in that battalion (or even better, wich battles he took part of)?
I am sorry the pics are not 100%... The pass was at one point rivetted because of its heavily use. I cant open it as a normal SB or. WP
