This is a simply OUTSTANDING "Großdeutschand" grouping! Definitely one of the nicest Soldbücher/Wehrpässe to a truly hardened "Großdeutschland" combat veteran I've seen posted here in quite some time, and the fact that he was one of the original members of "Großdeutschland" and served with the unit from its inception through wars end is the icing on the cake

What a smashing portrait photo IMHO he was issued a field gray wrapper as from 1943 - 1945 he served in the Regiment's 17. then 13. schwere Infanteriegeschütz Kompanie (Sfl.) which were equipped with SdKfz.138/1 "Grille"

Again, an outstanding Großdeutschland grouping I am sure many here would be extremely happy to have in their collections

In addition to my comment above I'd also like to point out that per regulations Berbrich is wearing the correct white-piped collar tabs on his wrap. This is the first time I have ever seen these white piped tabs being worn on a "Großdeutschland" field gray wrap in a Soldbuch portrait photo
