    Cheers Steve

I don't think that's a good comparison to be honest, documents from within a division can vary widely when issued by subunits, in the case of this award even more difficult as they were issued for the most part at company level so will get variations. At the very least you would need to compare ones from the same regiment but really you'd need to see ones from 14./Gren.Rgt.200...needle meets haystack. The other thing of course is when it was issued, as the stamp uses Grenadier Regiment rather than PanzerGrenadier Regiment it puts into a specific time frame. It'd also be good to know the names of the commanders of the kompanie..good luck with that!

I am suspicious of this doc, that the stamps Fp number is conveniently obscured raises another little flag, perhaps not red but amber at least.

Without much better knowledge of the unit and more examples of the award, preferably with their soldbucher then it's very hard to judge.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
