    Just as I suspected:

    After his 6 week convalescence in a hospital he went on March 29, 1945 on recuperation leave (Genesungsurlaub)

    This is the final kiss of death for the 1945 award entries. No Iron Crosses, no Sturmabzeichen and no Nahkampfspange.

          I agree 100% - IMHO all of the entries circled by Naxos have been unfortunately added post-war in a dishonest attempt to increase the monetary value
