That is a VERY nice Soldbuch, congrats!

According to the book "Hitlers Garands" by Darren Weaver, the K43 was issued with just one magazine with the pouch by the end of the war, because of a shortage of these mags. The Soldbuch supports this. The G/K43mags were also to be used for the planned VG1, VG2 (small production) ect. so not enough around. The other compartment in the pouch was supposed to be for loose rounds. There is however not mentioned in the Soldbuch the 98K pouch which was issued with the K43 as well?

Thanks for posting this one, as well as the FJ one.

Interesting to see the variations in the sniper gear. I used to own one for a K43 sniper, as well as a k98k sniper.

one question:
generally speaking, sniper was attached to stab companie,battaillon or regiment. but from this book, not like this.
