    Heeres Flak SB: question

    Hello

Recently i bought a small Heeres Flak group consisting of a SB, dogtag, ostmedaille and HFlak badge.

In the soldbuch on page 22 is something i can't understand (yet).
First of all the entries of the medals isn't written on page 22 but on a piece of paper that is stapled on the page.

The date of the entry of the ost is 22.01.1945.

Did you guys already see something like this?
What could be a possible explanation for this?

If you need more scans of the soldbuch to come to a descision, please let me know.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

I do not like the "Heeres-Flak" entry.
The writing and the signature of "Major Auer" looks not good to me.

The "Ostmedaille"-entry is also very, very late. I had a grouping of a soldier who got his Ostmedaile in July 1944, this is very late. So maybe this could be a true entry, but I am also very sceptical.

Agree about the HFB entry. Looks very unperiod like

I don't like the liquid damage. If it was a period page and entries I feel like it would have also damaged pages 22 and 23, but page 23 looks almost perfect.

Going by the feldpost number i assume we're talking about Heeres flak abteilung 311 of the panzer lehr division.

I'm also sceptical of these entries, could we see more of the book?

Thank you all for your replies.
Here are a few more shots from the SB.

Looking forward to see if this helps.

Simon was indeed correct about the unit.

In the back of the SB there are a few loose papers. Here is one of them.
On the others there are adresses.

And here is a group shot.
IMO this is a honoust group given the consistency of the items and the source it came from.
Could it be that he served in another unit during the winter of 41 and they regulated his wear of the ost in 45 at his new unit?

As already has been mentioned, that extra piece of paper with the awards appears to be bogus......shame as it is a Pz. Lehr book!

If it had been stapled there since the war, the staple imprint should be on the opposite pages with possibly some staining which there does not appear to be.

Also the unit issuing the Raucherkarte does not appear anywhere else in the Soldbuch?

Can you show a large scan of the unit stamp on the "extra" award page?

I have seen this book before somewhere but do not remember where.........also wasn't green ink reserved for Gebirgs and Jäger units?

I think that piece of paper can be taken off without doing much damage?
