    help with luftwaffe wehrpass

    hi guys.
    I need your help please to translate those pages and to know what is this green paper that came inside that wehrpass. It's look like a post war paper.

    The green paper is a certificate the this guy has been vaccinated against tetanus.

        This part of his service on page 12 is ending 4.3.1943

        In these years he served with Flak (Anti Aircraft) units and AA searchlight units.

          On page 26 is recorded that the Gefreiter Ockenfels was unfit for service and 4. 3. 1943 he was discharged after a medical check and sent home to Dortmund - Huckarde. He was gives his saleries.

          The unit/office of the Luftgaukommando XII which dircharged him was in Frankfurt/Main-Höchst.

            I don't understand why a vaccination certificate that was made postwar, in 1959, is inside the wehrpass.

              A tetanus vacccination still today is always necessary if you have have injured yourself (open wound). you need even today. It's a normal vaccination for all who work in a garden or on the fields.

              So the owner of the certificate must have stored the document in his old Wehrpass to keep it safe.

              So you see he survived the war and was still staying alive 1959. Again: this vaccination certificate is in no relation to the Wehrpass or the war.
