              Nice Soldbuch!
Is it this book available somewhere? I love the way it's structured with the facsimile!

I LOVE that Soldbuch. It must have pained you to get rid of it.

Now, is that book you posted about the razing of the Ghetto after the 1944 Uprising? Is Major Reck listed in that book?

If you mean the "stamp" on the right top of the Soldbuch, by regulations a 2nd issue Soldbuch was to have "Ersatz" or a similar word, written on the top of page one and signed and stamped by issuing unit. This was not always done. Most often, the stamp and signature were missing but at times, there was no indication that it was a 2nd issue book.
