It's never too late to spot something new ...

I've just seen that SS Hauptsturmführer Knöchleins birthday (27.5.) matches the day the massacre of Le Paradis took place!!! Why would a man give order to kill 99 unarmed men on his birthday? Because the British have ruined his day by killing 17 of his men earlier that day?

This is a true case of irony of the fate as he set the course for his execution on this day .

Another 2 1/2 years just to find another "Le Paradis" related SS TK document - in this case a Soldbuch & Wehrpas grouping of a 1921 born SS Rottenführer.
Poor boy died while serving as SS TK armoured reconnaissance on January 16th 1942 in Russia.

If someone has anything "Le Paradis" or "Hauptsturmführer Fritz Knöchlein" related for sale, please contact me.
I also have lots of Panzer and SS Soldbücher & Wehrpässe for trade.
