From what I can find, the Amiral might be Johann Bachmann.
Born 22.3.1890 in Werdau

He was promoted to dmiral on 1.9.42

thank you for the answer. I think this too is Bachmann, at least the military posting (Westfrankreich) fits.
Any word on how he was killed in action????
