    Lost/Stolen Items

    Hello,

Please read this thread about 2 missing and unique glider licences that are at this moment MIA in the postal services :

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=171949

All info or tips from persons who are offered these or have seen them are welcome.

Cordial greetings and thanks for looking,

    Soldbuch lost in transit

    Hi all,

thought it would not harm to post this here.
Below is a picture of a soldbuch which I sold on the e-stand and sent to the U.S. about two months
ago - where it never arrived. Nothing too exciting fortunately.

Anyway, one never knows, one day it might show up somewhere and one of
    you guys sees it.

Don't we have a sticky "lost in the mail thread" by the way?

No lost in the mail thread but I have stuck this to the top of this sub-forum.

      Hopefully it will turn up!

That is a good idea. I have had 4 lost this past year. All arrived in NYC, then disappeared.

          Hi,

oh, thanks a lot! Still I think my soldbuch alone is not worth a sticky thread.

But it is a different story if the other guys post their lost soldbücher as well
(maybe always just the first page to make it easier to remember).

The world of soldbuchcollecting is surprisingly small, I would not be surprised if
some of them sooner or later turn up somewhere and one of us notices it.

          Thanks again!

I too have lost one... Right around Thanksgiving I bought one and it was coming from New Jersey by means of 'Parcel Post', and I still haven't got it. Here's one of the pictures... Although it is not a special one, it is to me and I would like to put it in my collection! If anyone sees it let me know please.

Parcel Post is Latin for Lose me.

Ha, yes I agree! If I had known from the beginning he was planning on shipping it Parcel Post I would have payed an extra couple bucks for first class.

Here is a soldbuch I bought off WAF back in Dec 2008. It never made it from Germany to Holland. Last name is Graubner
