                        Great Grouping!!!! Highly seasoned combat vet,this type of material is most desirable,a very complete grouping, especially like the hand written notes,amazing that they survived all this time. A very nice addition!

                          Ah...you are the one Thomas.....I was also interested in this group, however as you say he is not listed as a DK holder in any known lists and was the first thing that put me off....

                          Also, the awards prior to his DK and after have nice crisps stamps but the DK does not...another thing that put me off it!

                          So, if a genuine entry, why is the stamp unreadable? Was v. Werner the Abteiling Kommandeur?

                          For me that was enough to not take it further, however seeing as it is yours, you must try and dig around a bit to find out more!

                          7.1.1945 was a Sunday.....now of course the war does not stop on a Sunday and I found 17 other army recipients of the DKiG on that day.....so why was he missed off the list?
