As the Unit was under the 12 SS Pz.Division "HitlerJugend" in 1945,

here is the EK2 Document signed by the HJ Commander HUGO KRAAS

I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea what would have become of Soldbuchs that were taken from German POWs by Americans. I can not believe that after they were processed, that they would have just been thrown in the trash.

After seeing all Barry's books, I thought it was time to post a simple one.
Karl Kleimeier served with 4/ Pz Rgt. 27 in Sudrussland (Charkow, Shi*omir) but was then sent to several Pz. Jäger schools. He ended up with 4 Felders. Btl of the Fuhrerbegleit Div. and was KIA on 20.4.45 and buried in Neupetershain Nord.

Here is a young 19 year olds soldbuch from the 19th Pz Division. Unfortunatley
pages 9 -16 are gone but I guess you didn't need them in a Russian Prisoner of War Camp.
