Here's a nice Soldbuch for a kid who served in Panzer-Jaeger-Kompanie. On D-Day, his unit was called to the Orne River Bridge. Lucky for him, he was captured.

Here's a super grouping for a mechanic of schwere Panzer-Abteilung 506. I have been in contact with Herr Pulst for a few years. He sent me some nice photos of the Tigers. Also, notice the toy Tiger that his workshop made for their unit commander, who was later killed. Wonder where this tiny Tiger tank is today.

Last, but not least, is a Soldbuch grouping for a member of SS-Panzer-Regiment 1 "LSSAH". This grouping came from his estate about five years ago and includes his driver's license, dog tag, and various documents, including his tank battle listing at Normandy, which lists seven engagements in a specific 2nd Company Panther. His crew knocked out 21 American tanks and an anti-tank gun position - they were competing with Michael Wittmann! I plan to write a magazine article about this Soldbuch grouping one day, therefore, I blocked out the name and engagements for now - sorry!

                        Barry,
Great bunch of books. They leave me speechless, which is normally a considerable task.

What a spectacular Blitzkrieg of Soldbücher! Love that s.Pz.Jg.Abt.653 book - the LSSAH Panther Soldbuch leaves me speechless

                              Thanks for posting them...
