HI i was wondering if someone could help me translate a letter.I am curently learning to speak German but i cant understand the letter.

my english is not very good, but I will try:

Dear mum and dad,

Only want to let you know that I´m well and I hope you are well too.

I would have written earlier, but I did not found time to.

You may woundered that a fellow of mine wrote oyu, but I´m in the hospital with an influenza.
