          And the knock-out!

Well, a wonderful StuG Soldbuch you have there, Tommy. I like the photo with the early collar tabs with removed totenkopfs... Very nice, and thanks so much for posting it here

            Yet another nice one Tommy.

From the later awards of the KVKII and KVKI it would appear that he was most likely assigned support duties while with Sturm Geschutz Brigade 904.

Hello Tommy, thanks for the correction. The KVKII looked like a KVKI to me. Took another look and now see it is a KVKII!

Agreed. It's highly unlikely that this guy ever crewed a StuG. It would appear he served simply in a support role.

Towards the latter stages of the War he was transferred to Stab/HQ of StuG Abt/Brigade 904 which were Equipped with Stug! But at this Point he under took the drivers award due to a change in his duties(?) In my Opnion he lost his Left arm Crewing a Stug at some Point. In Hand inspection under magnification shows Tell tail Signs that his left sleave is Normarly Folded up. I welcome Others Opnions on this Subject!

I see no indication why he should have lost his left arm (or do I misunderstand the question?). With a lost arm he would have been discharged or would have stayed as an instructor with a replacement unit maybe.

I'm Convinced he lost Part/All of his Left Arm. And was regarded Highly by his unit, hence he stayed with them until the End--This Combat SB is Packed with Interesting entries) Which I'm sure the New Buyer will appreciate reading to him self!

PS Thanks Robert, For the Free Publicity

It is a nice soldbuch but are you actually serious about the arm story?

Hi Justin, If that were the case he would have been awarded the SWB straight away (IMO). Are there any entries to support your conclusion?

Still a very nice SB !
