Here is another one I roughly know the meaning of
        'Wunsche des Wehrpflichtigen fur truppenzuteilung'

roughly translated is-'desire of the people liable for military service for troop dispatching'

What is the correct meaning please?
Also, is it what Arm the military wants to send him to, or what arm the person wants to go to?Ie Infantry, panzer etc?
        Many thanks,Lynton.

We would say Address of next of kin...in the Soldbuch it is Anschrift der nächsten lebenden Angehörigen

                Hi Ian,
                Many thanks .
I thought it was along those lines but it didn't transate as that.

I have another question related to this book,
Does anyone know the meaning of this section in a Wehrstammbuch?
The title translates as 'colours-Surely/Weak' the weak being crossed out
and I know it is to do with eyes/vision for right and left eyes, but what is it actually for and what do the entries mean please?

Here are a couple of pics of what I mean,
                  Thanks,Lynton.

Also looking for the correct meaning of this please?
                      'Entscheid uber das Arbeitsdienstverhaltnis'
with the entry next to it of 'Heranziehung - A'

Roughly translated it's 'decision over work-service' -'Consulting -A'
What exactly does this mean please?

And...can anyone read the word here between Inf and Mot please? Is it Kien?
                      Thanks Lynton.

                        Hi Lynton,
I would say between Inf and mot is - kein, what means no or not.
Also I think that his sense of the hearing has been checked. So you can read:
Ohren rechts fl. Spr. 6m what means right whispering 6 metres.

                          "Infantry, no motor vehicles" probably.

Lynton ... the more I study the script, the more it looks as you wrote it: "kien". Just looking at it quickly it looked like "kein" to me. So perhaps my quick evaluation of "Infantry -- no mot[or vehicles]" is entirely wrong.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I just checked a German dictionary and there is no entry for "kien" or "rien".
