Please help translate Sutterlin entries in SB/WP

Hi guys-

I need some help with this one.

I recently added a very nice WP/SB set to my collection. These were issued to a Signals soldier who was called up in 1943, spent about a year as part of the occupational force in Denmark, was transferred to a Grenadier Regiment in late 1944 and ended the war in the Kurland pocket. He was taken prisoner after the official surrender and subsequently died in Soviet captivity in January, 1946. At least he didn't have to suffer too long The fact that his Soldbuch made it out of the camp simply amazes me.

Anyway, both books are jam-packed with sutterlin entries, and I'm having a tough time translating a few of them. Hopefully you can help me out.

I'd like to know what the writing on this page says. Obviously it has something to do with the official surrender (08.May.1945) but I can't figure out what the writing in purple says:

How about this one. I've got

and then (not Sutterlin, but I can't make it all out)

Looks like "Ke....itten(?) 1134 1/2(?!?) - Marsch-Batt. z.b.V. Inf.664 - 1.komp"

It looks like:

******189; Marsch Battalion z.b.V, Infanterie 664.

Not sure if that referes to Infanterie Regiment 664 and not sure at the moment what the 1134 refers!?!?!

Dates will help as Inf.Rgt. 664 was disbanded in 1942 and 1134 units did not exist until 1944/45!

Anyway it is the Transfer Battalion he was attached to sending him from the homeland to his front unit.

Ian-

You are correct. The dates for that entry are 4.11.1944 - 18.11.1944

I would guess that it was the unit he was assigned to while deploying to the front.

Not sure if that referes to Infanterie Regiment 664 and not sure at the moment what the 1134 refers!?!?!
