            Hi Yancy,
Heres my second attempt...I just wrote it all for you and closed the wrong window by mistake!!!
I will have to check Tessin for the unit info which I can not do tonight......

            Image 1:
Action in rear operations area Army Group C from 3.9.39 until 7.10.1939.
Action with the occupation troops in Poland from 8.10.39 untial 9.33.40.
10.3.40-3.5.40 Action in rear operations area Army Group C.

            Image 3.
With the effect form 3.5.1940 transferred to Artillerie Ersatz Abteilung 223, Brüx (location not sure about!)

            Image 4.
Discharged on 8.9.40 as Gefreiter to Dresden A46 from Landesschützen Ersatz Bataillon 4.
Type of discharge "DU" (Dieinstuntauglich or unfit for active service), medical judgement "g.v.H" (Garnisonverwendungsfähig in die Heimat or fit for garrison duty only in the homeland).

Will check the units tomorrow...unless someone else does!

            /Ian
