...(edit)... I've seen other groups without the badges, but with award docs for DKiG and RK, go for less money. Without divulging what his price is, what do you guys think would be a fair price for this group? It also includes his photo album and his Bundeswehr uniform.
Knowing what numbered tank badges go for, if these are original, I'd go out on a limb and guess-timate somewhere in the 3000 to 5000 $/euro range, IF it's all original, not pieced together (badges added and so forth). Others more knowledgable may be able to give a better price guess.
Nice group...

My only comment about this is the minor discrepacy between the last wehrpass entry and award docs for the 44-45 period. 1./pz-rgt 23 as opposed to 4./pz-rgt 23 in thev doc otherwise

If you take a closer look at the WP you'll notice that the entry reads I. not 1.
I. refers to the first abteilung of which the 4 kompanie was a part
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
My personal view on groupings like this are that the badges can never be proved to have come with them, even if the seller says he got them straight from the families hands, once you own it you cannot PROVE that, therefore i would not pay a premium for the actual medals, just what they're worth on their own.
Having said that though, for each extra awards document i do think the seller can add a premium, surely 4 documents together for the same person is worth more than 4 times what one document would be worth.
Just my opinion, we all feel differently about these things.
Good luck with it, looks to be a very nice grouping, Ant.
the thread is old, but I just found it. Very nice to see is that the Doc's are the same. So I wanted to show them here. My things are a gift to my father and he gave it to me.
What is the name of Waldeck with first name, Max or Georg?
