Hello all,

Would like to share something I picked up recently that came out of England. I'll go into more detail later in the thread.

The Knights Crosses are unmarked wartime Schickle pieces, I believe pre March 1941 types. The Oakleaves & swords are presumed to be Deumer examples.

The items are sewn to the removable backings, so I am unable to photograph all of the pieces at differing angles unfortunately.

only a few of the badges were loose enough for removal to photograph.

some of this stuff is so mint you should probably wear sunglasses

there's a lot of variety and time frames represented here as well. Early pre war stuff all the way into late war zinc. A lot of makers here too, such as S&L, Deumer, F&B L, FLL, GWL are all seen here.

was able to photograph this one. I know there's a theory that Deumer actually produced the Godet DKIG as the manager was the same for both. Don't know if that is worth mentioning but this early (HEAVY) style German Cross in gold is completely unmarked.

If you look closely, you can even see the factory lacquer which was applied over the swastika and is still visibly present. A true gem for me

Wow ! The condition of these pieces are are beautiful. Are you able to see the details of the back of the oaks and oaks and swords ? Are they flat or concave and how are the ends of the ribbon loops finished ? Do you have the history of this wonderful display ? Thanks for showing !
