I have doupts. An Urkunde for a ss-sturmbanfuerer beginning with 1100 dollars? He obviously has doesn't take it seriously himself. There should be a picture of the "Frieda Thiersch" to make a positive id. From the very few urkunde I have seen and have pictures of, the gap between "Den", "4.september" and "1940" seems to be too wide, allthough I haven't seen enough of these to be sure.
Details of the eagle and various other aspects should be covered decently for someone to be able to make a reasonable assesment of this item valued over 10 000 if original.Antti

Copies
Hi Allen,
you mean: http://www.thirdreich.ca/museumcopie...ction=kcfolder .
But Vogt isn't among the copies: Erwin Rommel, Michael Wittmann, Sepp Dietrich, Adolf Galland, Hans Ulrich Rudel or Erich Topp are the only ones that they have. It can be that they have made a special copy for only 1 person. But the price would much higher than the normal 995 dollar.

Jeroen, this looks like a 'period' or 'full stop'....
I'd prefer to see something a bit more associated with the type of instrument used to scribe the document and the 'art' of doing so!Regards,
Dave
