    Dietrich,
Dude - when is the article on the S&L RK coming out? I have a dog in this fight and I can't wait to get this party started!

How about this. The pictures DOES NOT show dirt, but rather a die flaw which is the identification of the Typ A die from S&L and cannot be found on Type B...

          Another tease

I found the revelation about the lower 3 o'clock arm beading on the "935/4" version to be most interesting!

            I. too, have a cross that has gone under Dietrich's 'scope and can't wait to see the article publiied here. What I've seen is interesting, to say the least - remarkable research by someone with a helluva lot more patience than I have!

Just a few areas to look at on your S&L, Marc

                1. The junction of the 12 oclock and 9 oclock arms

                  2. The junction of the 12 oclock and 3 oclock arms

These areas were touched upon in another thread "more S&L die flaws", but this was a brief discussion of these flaws.

It's up to Seba right now. I'm also working on the German version of the article and hope to have it ready to be published in Germany by the middle of next week.

This is going to be based on items 'in hand' not just old doctored pictures and surely no assertions of a "new" something or other in town!
                        Regards,

Sorry- No attmept to reveal anything. I do not know the nature of Diertich's report on S&L RKs or any details regarding analysis or conclusions but I would imagine it will be a comprehensive review of the crosses of different types of S&Ls and answer questions regarding these pieces. The old thread on "more S&L die flaws" just mentioned these particular flaws and just showed where they were. The primary focus there was to see if others had similar flaws in the same area.

Sorry, I thought the focus was to get Dietrich's article out for publication.
