Ww ii ek i spange, screw back clamshell

If anyone can provide any information about this screwback Spange I would be appreciative. The clam shell has fine detail and the Spange is marked "20" just below the anchor pin point. I don't find any exact examples but I think I have seen some a long time ago. Could it be a private purchase Spange by CF Zimmermann of Pforzheim?
    Thank you for any opinions.

Apologies, photos were right side up when loaded. Some quirk I am not aware.

Sorry, as far as I know, Zimmermann never made any spange.

Never seen a Zimmerman spange either and none found in my archives but the (very caracteristic) details of your eagle make me think of a Juncker 2nd pattern spange that is mostly found un-marked so not sure why they had to push their luck and screw it up with a "20" maker's mark ...

A few years back I almost bought the same screwback spange (unmarked) with 1914 EK combo because the detail looked good and I've wanted a Juncker spange for ages but at $500.00 for the combo for an item that usually sells for $4/5K (the Juncker spange alone goes for 1.2/1.5K) I figured something was fishy

            Best regards

            JC

Wrong mark to try an increase value, all marked spanges would have and LDO code. Jim

As far as I know, Zimmermann never made Spanges. The maker mark is false.

IMO the Spange is a fake, pretending to be a Juncker. Good quality fake in any case.
