Please drop me a line, if you decide to sell it. It’s a good filler.

              Thanks for the reverse photo.
This is indeed a "B" type S&L frame with raised beading flaws (which could well have emerged in the same run which produced frames without such flaws). The '800' mark does not match the normal larger '800' mark sometimes used by S&L (see below). It is nicely made piece. I see no signs of frosting (which can, however, depending on polishing/cleaning, disappear completely over time).
As an educated guess, the odds favor this cross being assembled from leftover wartime parts some time after the end of the war. Still, a nice piece.

Don't know. These pieces do not appear regularly enough to have a reliable baseline.

Postwar stamped 800 marking put my of my game thinking the whole cross was fake, but as a B frame the cross is still nice and collectable.

Still not convinced the 800 wasn’t added later. It’s a pit the oaks don’t match the cross, as in aren’t S&L. I wouldn’t pay too much for this until the 800 was matched with another S&L piece.

Well, i put these oak leaves to make the photo. Wish one day to have money enough to buy an original one.
