Thanks for the reverse photo.
This is indeed a "B" type S&L frame with raised beading flaws (which could well have emerged in the same run which produced frames without such flaws). The '800' mark does not match the normal larger '800' mark sometimes used by S&L (see below). It is nicely made piece. I see no signs of frosting (which can, however, depending on polishing/cleaning, disappear completely over time).
As an educated guess, the odds favor this cross being assembled from leftover wartime parts some time after the end of the war. Still, a nice piece.Attached Files
